In 1985, Hugh Harmon, Ph.D. (Doctorates in Psychology, Religion, Metaphysics), established The Foundation For Research and Exploration of Mind Motivation (F.R.E.O.M.M.), a public, non-profit teaching, healing, and research foundation dedicated to discovery, demonstration, and dissemination of knowledge of the mind, spirit and light and their effects upon the physical.

After fifty years of study, research, teaching, and clinical practice, Dr. Harmon sides squarely with researchers who have concluded that the mind exists independently of the body/brain, but uses the body/brain when physically embodied. His own research and work have added to the body of evidence suggesting that the non-embodied mind - or that which is generally called spirit - does exist and readily communicates with embodied mind (the mind of embodied spirit).

The Foundation is dedicated to teaching people to restore balance to the Earth and to help themselves through knowledge of their own minds, spirits, bodies, and light that they may add to the greater good for all.

GOD (by whatever name) is THE SOURCE of all that is.

LIGHT is the creator energy and creator consciousness of GOD and the essence of Spirit.

SPIRIT is the aspect of GOD through which Creation is being created.

MIND is the aspect of SPIRIT that serves the will of SPIRIT .

FORM is that which Spirit creates to express and experience itself and thus grow in awareness and understanding.

There are many aspects and levels of Form, Mind, and Spirit. The scientific study of and communication with these leads to personal growth, the advancement of civilization and greater knowledge of the universes of Creation.

• Development of the use of audio, visual, and kinesthetic vibrations and combinations to produce altered states of consciousness. (Altered state of consciousness: State of mind in which mental focus is shifted from the physical levels; i.e. "outer reality", to the non-physical levels; i.e. "inner reality".)
  
• The integration of traditional psychodynamic principles with concepts and theories in the field of hypnosis and paranormal phenomena. (Hypnosis:
  A state of focused concentration that produces altered states of consciousness.)


• Discovery and investigation of, as well as communication with, the aspects of mind, body and spirit in altered states of consciousness.


• Techniques for determining the source and accuracy of mind, body, spirit communications.


• Understanding of and techniques for augmenting the body’s healing systems.


• Identification of common factors in adverse patterns of thought, emotion and behavior and the most effective methods of correcting these adverse patterns to restore the integrity and balance of the whole system of mind, body and spirit.


• Investigation into the past through "past life regressions" and accessing of The Universal Records of Spirit (through altered states of consciousness).

• Public as well as privately sponsored lectures, workshops, classes, seminars, and symposiums. Tapes and publications such as the trilogy Odyssey of the Soul, a series of three enlightening books for personal and global healing and advancement.

• Individual counseling, teaching techniques for self-healing, self-improvement, and self-guidance. "Honor Grants" for counseling are given to individuals who demonstrate a pressing need and a lack of sufficient funds. Payment is to be what is affordable) with the remainder to be paid into the "Honor Grant" funds when this becomes financially feasible.

Funding. is through membership ($25 yearly), donations, grants, F.R.E.O.M.M. sponsored classes, seminars, symposiums, publications, tapes and speaking fees generated by Dr. Hugh Harmon and Pamela Chilton, C.Ht. Grants and donations (minus any services or goods given for these) are tax deductible.
